The Penn Ohio Combine is located on the eastern border of Ohio and the western border of Pennsylvainia and includes the West Virginia Panhandle. It has about a 50 mile front and an aproximate 80 mile depth. There are about 50 active fanciers in the combine. All are top notch fanciers  and the competition is grueling. I would venture to say that this area has one of the toughest young bird schedules and is one of the largest hotbeds for futurity racing in the country. We have a 8 race combine schedule and an additional 7-10 special races. It all starts on the first week in August and the first 250mile Special is the last week of August. From this week on until the middle of Oct. there is a Special race on sat. and a combine race on sun. It all starts with the Harmony Club Auction Race a 250 Miler followed by the Ohio Futurity about a 350 mile race, then the SFF Futurity (300) which is followed by the OVF (300), Following that is the LCF (300), leading to the GNEO (300), the GNEO race is only open to the lofts located in Ohio so it cuts a number of fanciers out of the race not to worry though, the same weekend is the combine 300 and the Beaver Valley Club holds a bond race in conjuction with the combine race. Following this the Harmony club has the final race of the year which is a bond race. And if all that is not enough  there is a bond race held by the Southwest club and a 400 mile open held by the GAR in OH that can be flown.
